Connor started in his new school in April... he was A honor roll at CCA, and even though he was at the new place for so little time, he worked hard, got used to the new homework and made A honor roll at the new place as well! That gained him a gift certificate to the GRUB! My favorite place! So we we had delicious burgers, went to the movies to watch Jungle Book and then...yes, PETCO. We got 5 fish... this was maybe 2 weeks ago. We had fun! ....but our fish are all dead

The other night Nani got out of her shower, looked in the mirror and say: my hair looks really good like this. (It was wet, down by her face). I said: You are right sweetheart, it does, but it looks good when is dry,  normal hair. See just like mommy's - normal hair (my hair curly everywhere). She says: Crazy normal!
I replied: you are crazy, so yeah. Crazy normal curly hair.
So I took her back, we sat on the bed and I said: nani I have a secret to tell you. I whispered: but it is really really a secret..... You can't tell anybody. She moved closer and whispered back: Ok mommy, what is it?
I reinforced: I am serious, nani. You cant tell anybody, not even your best friend.
- OK, she said.
Well, I continued, when God makes little girls, like you, and mommy when I was little, he chose a few to Bless with crazy wild curly hair. The same girls, he fills with extra joy, overflowing. He makes them funny, and lovable sot hat He can share Hi joy and love towards others through them.
Oh.... OK. (she was thinking hard, but seemed pleased with it).
Then she whispered, mommy, you know why I wont tell anybody the secret?
No, I replied.... tell me?
Because I wont remember! - then she giggled, jumped out of bed and ran out to play!
Yep.... full of joy... and a bit crazy my little curly head princess...

The book thief

A few months back, my father told me I should watch the book thief. I just did, and boy, was he right: what a wonderful movie. The girl who played lislie is absolutely beautiful. She reminds me so much of jujube, probably her German background and big blue eyes. But of course, the story. I can see my dad as the papa in the movie: good night your majesty- boa noite princesa. A sad movie,  especially after I spent so much time listening to Dan Carlyle's history podcast, much of the vivid storytelling from his show added to my feelings toward the loss from the wars. Movies like these are not easy to watch, but when we start, we don't want to turn it off. They are also necessary:too soon we forget that a whole nation believed that it was ok to burn books and kill innocent people because of their religion and nationality. I enjoyed the movie, it will definitely be on my list of favorite dramas.
